We take you on a journey of space and time, where something ends and something begins, a threshold of an unknown universe, where we explore, self-reflect and loop on through infinite space & rhythms.
"Lab59 is a moment"
A moment when design and architecture take on new meanings. Space is no longer a linear perception. At Lab59, The journey becomes so much more than mere back and forth.
Located on a coastal city, this building was designed to commemorate the work of the late Zaha Hadid. The building is a mixed use facility, consisting of 13 floors semi-serviced apartments. The owners have been exposed to Lab59 Architects through social media and learning of our experience and work in various designs. Currently, Lab 59 is working with the clients on the construction documents required for execution which is set to be completed in 2019.

Bloomfields - Corals
Bloomfields is a residential project consisting of two types, the star-shaped and the coral-shaped. The project’s architecture was designed by JP&P and it’s interior by Lab 59 Architects as the local consultant. In this project we created a dynamic design with the focus on the element of double heights in entrances and staircases. The star-shaped units interior was used as marketing shots for this project. Materials used on the ground floor were dominated by marble with the introduction of wood on the first floor to add warmth to the space; also used in the coral-shaped units., A mock-up type is to be developed upon construction completion of the units.

From the very first sketch, the Lab59 & Riad Architecture design team set out to create a sense of “place” and “community” within the 300 acre New Menia master plan design. The intention was to create a neighbourhood – or series of neighbourhoods – that the local Menia resident feels enriched by and have a sense of belonging too, without using or abusing local motifs (be it in style or form).
