Challenge:  Creating three separate units not using the classic, apartment-like solutions common in shared “big family“ residencies in New Cairo. The three clients shared their desire for privacy while maintaining a modern villa feel to their homes.

Our Solution: Matto was designed to combine two duplexes and an apartment-garden unit, each with a private entrance.  A front yard with water features added to the uniqueness of the façade, while all units enjoyed a view of the backyard for maximum openness. The front and side elevations featured minimal openings for maximum privacy.
